Solvent Cemented

a. Dry Fit Check pipe to fitting joints, no solvent cementing required, should be 60 – 70%

b. Cold Fusion (Cold Welded Joints)

c. For 1⁄2″ to 2″ diameters, 1-step solvent cement

d. For 21⁄2” to 4″ diameters, 2-step solvent cement (primer + solvent cement)

e. Primer helps clean the surface of pipe and fittings and softens the material

Note – Typical cure times are required before joints are handled with care. In wet or humid conditions, additional cure times may be required, up to 50% of the listed amount. Use as a general guide only.

f. Cure Time – Cure Time is longer than Curing Time. Cured means the joint is fully mature

g. Pressure test only after joint is fully cured
